Musket with Bayonet Waster

£25.00

The musket is made from white ash, making it light to hold yet giving it the strength and durability required for intense combat training. It's finish is smooth, and it allows for practice of bayonet drill from the 17th century through until the 20th century! The weight can be increased to a more realistic Brown Bess feel by adding lead weights at strategic points along the weapon, and this optional extra is available for a small additional fee.

This musket waster is highly recommended by the Academy of Historical Arts for HEMA practice.

The weapons come unstained and unvarnished; we advise that upon receipt of the item, it should be rubbed with linseed oil or another equivalent solution.

Paul Bennett is a well-known name in both the HEMA community and the living history community. He works as a carpenter, and as a side interest he produces these top quality wooden training weapons with which people may practice the European martial arts, or they can even be used for training for historical re-enactment.
